Guardian Play Framework

Our approach to encouraging safe, balanced, and responsible participation for every user.

At Yukon Gold Gleam, we focus on maintaining a secure and comfortable space for participants. The Guardian Play Framework explains our responsible play principles and highlights tools designed to support mindful involvement.

Understanding Responsible Participation

Responsible play involves taking part in a way that stays enjoyable and manageable. Common indicators of balanced participation include:

Managing Your Time

Planning clear time frames for sessions and allowing regular pauses between activities.

Spending Awareness

Setting spending limits in advance and ensuring participation does not impact everyday financial needs.

Maintaining Balance

Keeping gaming activities separate from work, family life, social time, and other obligations.

Player Support Features

We offer a range of features intended to help participants stay in control of their activity:

Deposit Controls

Options to set daily, weekly, or monthly limits on account deposits.

Session Reminders

Alerts that notify you once a chosen session duration has been reached.

Self-Review Tool

A private questionnaire to help reflect on personal participation patterns.

Account Suspension

Temporary or permanent account suspension options, including optional cooling-off periods.

Self-Exclusion Options

If you decide to step away for a period, our self-exclusion options allow you to pause participation voluntarily:

  • Short Break: 48 hours to 4 weeks – Time to reassess habits
  • Extended Pause: 1 month to 5 months – For longer recovery periods
  • Ongoing Exclusion: Open-ended – For permanent account closure

After self-exclusion is enabled, account access and draw participation are restricted for the selected duration. Changes cannot be made until the chosen period concludes.

If support is needed, the following organizations offer confidential assistance:

Age Requirements

In accordance with Canadian regulations, age verification measures are applied:

  • Required Age: 19 years in most provinces (18 in Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec)
  • Verification Method: Government-issued identification may be requested
  • Parental Controls: Use of filtering tools is encouraged to limit underage access

We actively share information about legal age limits and provide guidance for parents concerned about underage participation.
